What’s Bike Share?
Bike sharing is a revolution in transportation, extending personal mobility through a network of publicly available bicycles that can be checked out using an app on your smartphone or online. Bike sharing complements existing public transit, providing connectivity by filling in the gaps where no other modes exist. It is a healthy, sustainable, and affordable form of public transportation.

From July 15 – August 5, a fleet of bicycles will be available throughout Jackson, providing fast, easy and free access around town for locals and visitors!

How does it work?
It’s simple, convenient and FREE.

RESERVE: Find and reserve using the bike keypad interface, mobile app or website
RELEASE: Unlock the bike by entering your PIN
RIDE: Zip to work. Cruise downtown. Meet up with friends.
RETURN: Lock it at a hub station or FOP labeled bike rack when you’re done

Friends of Pathways will host the Main Hub at the Home Ranch Parking Lot for the duration of the demo. This will be the location to come see the bikes, sign a waiver, and get set up to use the program for the three weeks it will be in town. Bikes can also be picked up from four other conveniently located hubs. Interested users are encouraged to sign up in advance at friendsofpathways.org/bike-share.
