Description: The western half of the WY-22/West Broadway Pathway. A new pathway connection from the Stilson Transit Center to the Indian Springs Trail junction near Journeys School.
Plan and Design Status: The Town and County elected officials reached agreement August 17, 2011 to finish final design and go to bid to construct the WY-22 Pathways from Stilson Transit Center to the existing Indian Springs Pathway by Journeys School. This design includes a separate Snake River pathway bridge south of the WY-22 highway bridge. The project is slated to be complete by 2013.
Funding Available: $6 million (West Segment estimate)
Source: SPET 2008 ($6 million) and WYDOT ($500,000)
Cost Estimate: $6 million (West Segment estimate)
Action Needed: Thank county commissioners and town council members for their commitment to this project. This key step completes a safe pathway connection between Wilson to Town, and meets a key WY-22 Pathway SPET project goal.
