Friends of Pathways, in conjunction with Alta Planning and Design and Jackson Hole Community Pathways, completed a plan for bicycle routes within the Town of Jackson. The draft plan defines bike routes, lanes, and boulevards that use existing streets, for quick implementation and low construction cost. A key focus of the project is to define safe and efficient routes that connect residential neighborhoods with key in town locations and the county wide pathway system while avoiding motor vehicle traffic. The plan contains wayfinding components that will help users navigate safely and efficiently through town.
The Town and County have approved, funded, and implementated the first phases of the town routes plan.
