WHY INVEST IN DIRT?

Trails are a wonderful way to unite people with our natural environment by giving them direct access to nature. Children, Seniors, and everyone in between can take a walk, ride their bike, hop on a horse, or run on our area trails - connecting with nature and with one another.

Friends of Pathways believes that our trails are crucial to Jackson Hole's quality of life. Unfortunately, today's federal budget has given the Forest Service fewer resources to maintain and build Jackson Hole's public land trails. In response to this, FOP has committed to raising $30,000 to support building new trails and maintaining existing trails in the Teton Pass and Greater Snow King Areas.

All money donated to the Invest in Dirt Campaign will go to support trail maintenance and construction. By Investing in Dirt you are making a difference today and for generations to come.

For the 2011 Season, all donations received will directly support the labor, tools, planning, and construction needed for:

Reconstruction of Phillips Canyon Trail
Fuzzy Bunny Trail - phase II features construction
Powerline Jumps Trail - reconstruction
Visitor Trail Signs and kiosks at trailheads on Teton Pass and the Greater Snow King Area Trails
Hagen Trail reroutes and Cache Creek Sidewalk
Hagen Stairs repair
Early down tree clearing f or the Teton Pass Area Trails and the Greater Snow King Area Trails
Spot drainage repair on all Teton Pass Area and Greater Snow King Area Trails
Ongoing education to reduce trail conflict

Drop a check or cash by the Friends of Pathways office: 355 South Miillward Street.
