The Jackson Hole Community School approached Friends of Pathways about doing a service project on MLK Day. What resulted was a fantastic event involving the students and faculty of JHCS, PAWS, the Forest Service, and FOP.
Volunteers set up information about proper behavior on the Cache Creek Trail, including leashing your dog for certain sections of the trail area, keeping your dog under voice command, and picking up the poop!
Through education, FOP believes we can raise awareness and help change behaviors. Thanks to all who participated in this fun event!

Over 50 people came out to dig new trail at National Trails Day! 1000' of trail along the Cache Creek Sidewalk was dug - thanks to all who came out to help!
'Operation Purple' is a national program for active military servicemen and women and their families with particular focus on the kids. They were a great group to be out with, especially on the 4th! We cranked through the last few turns up the new 'Wiggle', which now completes a great little beginner/intermediate loop from CC Sidewalk up to the Putt-putt, and replaces a 'user-created', unsustainable fall-line trail in poor condition.
