Councilors Add Three Sidewalks to Summer Project List

FOP is psyched the Town Council decided to spend some of the $4.4M it can spend on pedestrian-related projects, creating jobs and making safer, better streets for our community!

“We have money sitting there that can be spent,” Councilor Bob Lenz said. “We might have to hire a special engineer to get all of these done this summer, but with the projects we can get done this year, we can have our own little stimulus.”

The projects include: 1) An added sidewalk along Jackson Street between the Elks Lodge  and the Jackson Hole Twin Cinema; 2) New pedestrian bulb-outs around the intersection of Jackson Street and Pearl Avenue; and 3) A new sidewalk along the west side of Powderhorn Lane, between the office building at the corner of Maple Way to the pathway at Crabtree Lane.  Click HERE to read the full JH Daily article.
