Friends of Pathways, Bridger Teton National Forest, Snow King Resort and Jackson Hole Mountain Resort invite you to the 2010 Party for Trails on April 29th at Snow King Resort, Grand Room. With 27 miles of new and improved singletrack slated for the next two years, this is one party you won't want to miss.
Last month, the Wyoming Business Council awarded JH Trails Project partners over $455,000 in matching funds to complete the largest trail project to date in Jackson Hole. Money raised for the JH Trails Project will be matched dollar by dollar by the Wyoming Business Council Grant. "A partnership project of this scale has never been attempted on trails in our valley, it's a once in a lifetime opportunity to make Jackson Hole trails legendary" states Tim Young, Executive Director of Friends of Pathways.
Doors open at 6pm and project partners will be showcasing upcoming projects throughout the evening. Bridger Teton National Forest will provide public comment surveys and all attendees are invited to participate. Snake River Brewing will once again be providing tasty local brews and local outdoor shops will be showcasing spring and summer gear. Highlights of this year's raffle include a weekend warrior pass at JHMR and a full season ski pass at Snow King for the 2010-2011 ski season. Additional raffle prizes include great gear and goodies provided by local sponsors and booths. 100% of proceeds will benefit the JH Trails Project, turning every $1 spent to $2 earned.
For more information about the JH Trails Project or to donate online, visit us at http://www.friendsofpathways.org/projects/4-jh-trails-project. The Wyoming Business Council Grant will match all donations directed at the JH Trails Project, so it's time to invest in YOUR dirt.
