Old Pass Road- Clear until Crater Lake, then snow covered with trees across the road. Trail Crews expected to work the upper section for clearing when snow levels come down, June 13 expect opening to the Phillips Cut-Off. Crater-Patches of snow near Crater Lake. Not advising horses in the lower section yet, fine on foot. Big Rocks-Closed at the Lithium Junction with one foot of snow. Blacks-Snow patches to Big Rocks Junction, multi-use but not advising bikes or horses on this section until appox. June 13. GSKA Cache Creek Sidewalk-Look for the new 2,000’ extension of the Cache Creek Sidewalk to Bridge 3, this work was done on National Trails Day (check out the photos!). Finish work will continue for the next couple of weeks. Putt-Putt-Today the trail crew will be working the whole Putt-Putt to improve drainage, yes we do work in the rain. Notes The first signs of creeks starting to flood are showing. Please use caution on all stream crossings. Plus, keep your eyes on all our bridges, the trail crews are very nervous about losing a bridge. So, with that in mind please give them a heads up so they can try to cable down our bridges and save them instead of chasing them downstream.
